The save climbing is the main reason why this is best, put at the same time the route-choice has very good runnability with road and path most of the running distance. It is also easy orienteering although the control itself is slightly easier if you go straight over the hill or left via the plateau. | |

So I\ d take the route on the road/path, which also has the least climb. Later in the race, the route choice would be more direct: On the less visible path up the hill, then north of the cliffs, turning at the last one. Possibly the little uphill path even follows this route and connects directly to the path on the other side of the cliffs. | |
